Open service-oriented platform for Citizen Energy Communities (CEC): a collaborative platform
The main objective of the OPEN4CEC project is to develop an open source based platform that can cover and satisfy the needs of electricity generation and consumption services, particularized for a Citizen Energy Community (CEC), from a digital point of view. It will be constituted by microservices, each of which tries to cover an independent need. The microservices will be independent and oriented to each of the parts of the CEC, for which they are distributed in different layers. The use is oriented to the active agents of the community, and aims to be open, scalable and adaptable to different stages of development of an Energy Community.
ENDEF will develop monitoring and visualization services adapted to the needs of the Energy Communities, in addition to carrying out the validation of the project platform.
