SME Instrument is a subprogramme of the 8th European Framework Program for the financing of R & D & i Horizon 2020, which focuses exclusively on small and medium-sized enterprises. Our goal in this project is focused on improving the manufacturing line of our ECOMESH hybrid solar panels.
This program consists of the following phases:
- Phase 1: Concept and evaluation of viability
In this first phase, the program finances the “Business Plan” or scientific or technical feasibility study and the commercial potential of the new idea, with the aim of developing an innovative project. It is a non-refundable grant of 50,000 Euros.
In EndeF we have already passed this stage and, therefore, we have received the funds from the European Union.
- Phase 2: Demonstration and commercial replication
Financing for the development of the project presented in Phase 1. This phase finances the activities of Research, Development and Demonstration (Prototypes, tests, design of innovative processes, performance verifications, among others), as well as commercial replication.
- Phase 3: Commerzialization
In this third phase, companies will not receive direct financing. The European Union aims to facilitate access to private capital and facilitating environments, in order to establish links and access to risk financing.
